It’s a wrap!

It’s a wrap!

Presents sitting pretty waiting to be unwrapped

Now its less than a week until Christmas it’s time to get wrapping (if you haven’t already done so).

Thankfully, I manage to save a small fortune on wrapping, by using the same method year on year. It’s now known as my signature style for gifts, and can be used all year round, not just for Christmas. The only problem is, it’s a giveaway for Secret Santa.

My Christmas stamp collection
Achieving this wrap is simple, all it involves is some pretty stamps (theme of your choice). Mine are a pretty collection of vintage themed Christmas stamps by Cavallini & Co. (I have similar in a Paris theme too, shocker!).

In addition you’ll need parcel wrap, which is easy to find from the post office but is cheap from bargain stores like Wilkos.

The presents under the tree
Then it’s a visit to the pound shop where I buy fancy wired ribbon that’s super thick and glittery to set the presents alight under the Christmas tree.

What I do next is dead easy, anyone can do it…

Simply roll the paper out and stamp it sporadically here and there.

Stamps close up…imperfection is key
Allow it to dry and then wrap your desired gift. I normally disguise gifts in boxes and it makes them a lot easier to wrap too.

A recent addition to my stamp collection is the alphabet letters which mean I can stamp the names on the gift without worrying about tags. And it doesn’t have to be perfect, mine often aren’t. But that’s what makes homemade all the more endearing…

Personalised, pretty & frugal
And all that’s left to finish off is a pretty bow and voila! Give it a go and share your wraps!
